Responsibilities & Context:
The position is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering interactive, visually appealing, and business‑critical dashboards and reports. This role transforms raw data into meaningful insights through advanced data modelling, DAX calculations, and user‑friendly visualizations that support decision‑making across the organization.
Design, develop, and publish interactive Power BI dashboards, paginated reports, KPI scorecards, and analytics solutions aligned with business needs.
Build optimized data models using Power Query (M) and DAX, ensuring best practices such as star schema design, normalization, and performance tuning.
Connect and integrate data from multiple sources including SQL Server, ERP systems, Excel, APIs, and cloud platforms; perform data cleansing and transformation.
Develop drill-down, drill-through, and dynamic reports for operational and management stakeholders across Finance, Sales, HR, Operations, and Supply Chain.
Optimize dashboard performance, troubleshoot complex DAX queries, and enhance refresh efficiency and user experience.
Implement row-level security (RLS), manage Power BI Service work spaces, gateways, and dataset refresh schedules while ensuring data governance and compliance.
Collaborate with business and IT teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, present insights to management, and provide user training and documentation.
