Additional Requirements: - Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in food manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a plant leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO standards, and other food safety systems.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage complex operations, and deliver results under pressure.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills with hands-on problem-solving ability.
- Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems, and production planning tools.Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies is a plus.
Responsibilities & Context: Lead and manage all plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality assurance, and supply chain coordination.
Ensure all products are manufactured according to regulatory, quality, and food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO, BRC, FDA).
Implement production schedules, optimize resource utilization, and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as yield, efficiency, and downtime reduction.
Drive continuous improvement through lean manufacturing, root cause analysis, and performance management tools.
Manage plant budgets, control operating costs, and forecast capital expenditure needs.
Monitor equipment, process reliability, and preventive maintenance programs.
Develop and coach department supervisors, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and safety.
Liaise with HR on staffing, training, compliance, and labor relations.
Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental policies.
Report on production metrics and performance to senior management.
