Responsibilities & Context:
Production Planning & Control
Prepare production plans based on buyer orders, capacity, and delivery schedules
Line loading, capacity planning, and target setting (daily/weekly/monthly)
Monitor production progress and ensure on-time shipment
Identify bottlenecks and take corrective actions
Material Planning & Coordination
Plan and monitor raw materials such as leather, soles, chemicals, and accessories
Coordinate with procurement, stores, and warehouse teams
Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production delays
Production Execution & Supervision
Supervise cutting, sewing, lasting, Molding and finishing operations.
Ensure production follows SOPs, tech packs, and buyer specifications.
Optimize manpower utilization and improve line efficiency.
Cost Control & Productivity Improvement.
Control production costs and minimize material wastage.
Analyze SMV, productivity, and efficiency.
Team Management & Training
Lead and manage production supervisors, line leaders, and workers.
Conduct training and skill development programs.
Monitor discipline, attendance, and performance.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Coordinate with Merchandising, IE, Quality, Maintenance, and HR departments
Attend buyer meetings and provide production updates
Report production status and challenges to management
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare daily production, efficiency, and delay analysis reports
Maintain shipment status and capacity utilization reports
Ensure proper documentation for compliance and safety
Strong knowledge of footwear manufacturing processes
Production planning and analytical skills
Leadership and communication skills
Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Excel, and production planning tools.
Job Location: AEPZ, Siddhirgonj, Narayangonj.
