Responsibilities & Context:

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our Rehabilitation & Physiotherapy Services team. The incumbent will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing and treating patients with physical impairments, disabilities, and movement disorders through evidence-based physiotherapy interventions. The role also includes developing individualized treatment plans, providing rehabilitation services, educating patients and caregivers, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation in line with healthcare standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and establish physiotherapy diagnoses.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and rehabilitation goals.

• Provide physiotherapy interventions for musculoskeletal, neurological, orthopedic, pediatric, geriatric, sports injury, post-operative and rehabilitation patients.

• Administer electrotherapy modalities such as Ultrasound Therapy, Electrotherapy, Short Wave Diathermy (SWD), Pulsed Shortwave Therapy, Infrared Radiation (IRR), and other approved treatment techniques.

• Operate and monitor traction equipment, including Cervical and Lumbar Traction Units, ensuring patient safety and treatment effectiveness.

• Conduct exercise therapy sessions utilizing rehabilitation equipment such as treadmills, static cycles, gym balls, therabands, sandbags, standing frames, and other therapeutic tools.

• Educate patients and caregivers regarding home exercise programs, posture correction, mobility improvement, injury prevention, and self-management techniques.

• Monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and modify treatment plans as necessary to achieve rehabilitation goals.

• Collaborate with physicians, diabetologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.

• Maintain physiotherapy equipment and ensure proper utilization, safety, and cleanliness of treatment areas.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries in compliance with institutional policies.

• Participate in patient case discussions, continuing professional development activities, and departmental quality improvement initiatives.

• Adhere to professional ethics, infection prevention protocols, and healthcare regulations.

• Document all clinical encounters, assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and referrals as per institutional guidelines.
