Medical Affairs Liaison Officer – Job Summary (Key Points)

Position

  • Job Title: Medical Affairs Liaison Officer

Role Summary

  • Serve as the scientific liaison between the company and healthcare professionals (HCPs).

  • Deliver evidence-based medical and scientific information.

  • Build strong relationships with healthcare institutions and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).

  • Support medical education, advocacy, and public health initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Responsible for disseminating and leveraging scientific & factual information to Health Care Professional (HCPs) & Health Care Institution (HCIs) through evidence base scientific reference without undermining benefit of Breastfeeding.

2. Responsible to visit area-wise Key Health Care Professionals (HCPs) & Key Health Care Institutions (HCIs) as per agreed visit frequency and communication planogram.

3. Ensure all HCP communications are aligned with marketing & scientific affairs team through strictly maintaining the WHO code, BMS Act, and Company policies.

4. Support healthcare professionals (HCPs) in creating scientific and nutrition content for symposia, conferences, and CME programs.

5. Support in driving Organization Certified Nutrition Course, both online and offline, for various groups of healthcare professionals (HCPs).

6. Develop Key Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) as speakers for scientific programs.

7. Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to gather suggestions for improving scientific services.

8. Support outreach activities, public health initiatives and campaigns as required.

Qualifications

1. MBBS (mandatory); MPH or relevant postgraduate qualification in Public Health preferred.

2. Minimum 1–2 years of experience in clinical, public health, or medical liaison roles.

3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

4. Computer literacy: MS Office applications

Compensation & Benefits
