∎ • At least 10 years practical experience as pattern master in any renowned 100% export oriented woven bottom industry
∎ • Must know Lacrta software for pattern /marker
∎ • Must be fluent in both written & spoken English
∎ • Must have outstanding skill in MS Office program
∎ • Must have outstanding communication
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ • Develop precise and accurate patterns for woven garments based on design specifications, ensuring proper fit, function, and style.
∎ • Collaborate with the design and product development teams to translate design concepts into pattern drafts.
∎ • Utilize CAD software such as Lectra, Gerber, Optitex, or similar programs to create, modify, and grade patterns efficiently.
∎ • Maintain proficiency in CAD software functionalities to enhance pattern development processes and optimize efficiency.
∎ • Generate initial samples and prototypes based on pattern drafts, working closely with sample machinists and technicians to ensure accuracy and quality.
∎ • Conduct fittings and make necessary adjustments to patterns to achieve desired garment fit and silhouette.
∎ • Perform pattern grading to create size ranges for production, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all sizes.
∎ • Implement grading rules and standards to maintain garment proportions and fit throughout size variations.
∎ • Analyze patterns for fabric utilization efficiency, making adjustments to minimize material waste and optimize production costs.
∎ • Identify opportunities for pattern modifications to enhance garment construction methods and streamline production processes.
∎ • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all patterns, including detailed specifications, construction notes, and grading rules.
∎ • Organize and manage pattern libraries to facilitate easy access and retrieval of pattern files for future reference.
∎ • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including design, production, and quality assurance to ensure seamless execution of pattern development and production processes.
∎ • Conduct thorough quality checks on patterns, prototypes, and samples to verify accuracy, fit, and construction integrity.
∎ • Address any pattern-related issues or discrepancies identified during quality inspections, implementing corrective measures as needed.
