• A diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. or a degree in a relevant healthcare field.

• Training or experience in hospital/eye care counseling will be an advantage.
• 2–3 years of experience in an ophthalmology clinic or hospital setting is essential.
• Good communication skills and a customer-friendly attitude.Ability to work under pressure in a busy hospital optical unit.
• Previous work experience within any eye hospital or clinic is highly desirable.
• Basic knowledge of software and record-keeping.

• Counsel patients regarding eye diseases, investigations, surgeries, and OT procedures.
• Coordinate OT schedules between doctors, nurses, technicians, and patients.
• Ensure completion of pre-operative formalities, consent, and investigations.
• Guide patients on post-operative care, follow-up visits, and medication.
• Explain surgery costs, packages, and billing-related information clearly.
• Maintain patient counseling records and OT documentation.
• Support patient satisfaction by addressing concerns with empathy and professionalism.
