Job Summary:

We are seeking an energetic, customer-focused Pharmacy Salesman to provide high-quality patient care in our Hospital Pharmacy team. Working under the supervision of a registered pharmacist, you will dispense medications accurately, deliver exceptional customer service, maintain inventory, and ensure full compliance with pharmacy regulations and hospital policies.

• Dispense prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medicines accurately under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.

• Verify prescriptions and ensure the correct medicine, dosage, quantity, and labeling before dispensing.

• Assist customers by providing courteous and professional service while maintaining patient confidentiality.

• Maintain proper storage of medicines according to manufacturer recommendations and regulatory guidelines.

• Monitor medicine expiry dates and remove expired or damaged products from stock.

• Receive, arrange, and replenish medicines and pharmacy supplies on shelves.

• Maintain accurate stock records and assist in inventory management and stock audits.

• Process sales transactions accurately using the pharmacy billing/Hospital Management System (HMS).

• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other hospital departments regarding medicine availability.

• Ensure the pharmacy remains clean, organized, and compliant with infection prevention and safety standards.

• Report shortages, stock discrepancies, and near-expiry medicines to the Pharmacy In-charge.

• Assist in receiving medicines from suppliers and verifying invoices and delivery documents.

• Follow hospital policies, pharmacy regulations, and ethical dispensing practices.

• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally.

• Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Pharmacy In-charge or Hospital Management.
