Job Summary:
A Pharmacy Salesman is responsible for assisting customers in purchasing medicines and healthcare products, ensuring proper customer service, and supporting the daily operations of the pharmacy. The role requires good product knowledge, communication skills, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers and assist them in finding required medicines and healthcare products
Sell over-the-counter (OTC) medicines and explain proper usage
Handle prescriptions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
Maintain accurate billing and process payments (cash, card, or digital)
Keep the pharmacy clean, organized, and well-stocked
Monitor inventory levels and report shortages
Check expiry dates and remove expired products
Provide basic health-related information to customers
Follow all pharmacy regulations and safety guidelines
