Job Context:

∎ Contract length: Up to September 30, 2020 (with possibility of extension subject to funding, program needs and performance of incumbent)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Facilitating and coordinating all aspects of sub-award life cycle management, from partner identification, vetting, and project agreement/amendment development
∎ Managing the sub-award in the opportunity tracking system for the agreement review and in case of modifications
∎ Maintaining and coordinate partner program, finance and compliance monitoring schedules and coordinate support for partners with other IRC staff to address any challenges that may arise
∎ Ensuring proper monitoring of the projects implemented by the partners for donor compliance and progress against objectives
∎ Coordinating and facilitating partnership opening, review and closure meetings
∎ Provide necessary capacity building support to IRC and partners on relevel donors' and IRC's policy and procedures
∎ Implementing the close out process of the sub-grant at the end of the project
∎ Ensuring that comprehensive electronic and physical files for this award are maintained as necessary for both the Grants and Partnerships departments
∎ Maintaining proper and professional communication with IRC's partners based on Partnership principles of Equality, Complementarity, Transparency, Results Oriented Approach and Responsibility
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years of work experience in humanitarian or development programs/industry in Partnership and sub-award management.
∎ Knowledge of UN, DFID, ECHO etc. compliance and partnership/sub-award procedures
∎ Demonstrated successful experience working with partners and/or grants management
∎ Required to be able to function comfortably in a complex work environment, under pressure whilst prioritizing multiple tasks
∎ Good supervisory, time management and interpersonal skills
∎ Excellent computer skills
∎ Required to work under minimal supervision
∎ Demonstrable understanding of project planning and project cycle management
∎ Ability to build good working relationships and work effectively with program, field staff and HQ from a distance
∎ High-level of knowledge and practice with Excel
∎ Strong communication skills in both written and verbal English.
