Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in Civil Engineering/Master's degree
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Facilitate the implementation of the project activities and ensure all assigned duties are carried out and that resources are efficiently utilized at all levels.
∎ Under the direction of the WASH Activity Coordinator, plan field activities in communities to reduce COVID-19 related risks and supervise Outreach & Disinfection Assistants.
∎ With the intervention of the Outreach HP & Disinfection Assistants, deliver hygiene promotion messages in the area of intervention (with focus on COVID-19 epidemic).
∎ Liaise with his/her line manager on a daily basis and intervene in the planning of the project tasks by preparing activity/work plan.
∎ Organize and supervise the work of his/her department.
∎ Conduct needs assessment and report to his/her line manager.
∎ Report to the line manager on a regular basis on HR, finance and logistics related matters.
∎ Organize staff capacity building related to different types of training.
∎ Ensure that internal policies and procedures are adhered to by staff.
∎ In collaboration with Logistics Officer, control and monitor the good use of equipment, material and consumables needed for the implementation of the project activities.
∎ Monitor standards and compliance of work performed by the team members.
∎ Provide detailed, accurate and timely daily, weekly and monthly reports to his/her line manager on activities and potential challenges.
∎ Act as a communication conduit between the line manager and staff.
∎ Where required, gather and provide on regular basis necessary information, data, activity pictures, etc.
∎ Maintain regular coordination and communication with other stakeholders and WASH actors.
∎ Ensure constant communication with WASH staff members to identify potential problems, formulate recommendations and solutions and report.
∎ This list of activities is not exhaustive and additional activities may be requested by Tdh management according to the needs of the project.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Proven experience with (I)NGO in relief context (3 to 5 years)
∎ Proven experience in the WASH sector with hygiene promotion component (3 to 5 years)
∎ Ability to accomplish assigned tasks accurately and by established deadlines
∎ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
∎ Proficient in written and spoken English
∎ Fluency in the local language will be considered as a plus
∎ Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task
∎ Excellent organization and communication skills
∎ Professionalism and thoroughness
Salary: Tk. 55400 (Monthly)
