Job Context:
∎ JOB PURPOSE: This position is responsible for operating security equipment, monitoring CCTV cameras, and collecting incident reports. Moreover, this position will assist the Officers and Managers in the overall management of Security Control Centre operations.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Receive and record all information of security incidents affecting BRAC
∎ Take immediate initiatives to manage the critical situation and contact concern BRAC Management or any other agencies to handle the situation
∎ Maintain all security incident records relevant with BRAC and keep record of media news
∎ Monitor CCTV and intervene as necessary
∎ Handle and maintain CCTV and Access Control System and ensure those systems functioning uninterruptedly
∎ Coordinate with BRAC IT regarding software issues used by Security Risk Management Department
∎ Maintain all electronic equipment of the Security Risk Management Department
∎ Assist Sub-Assistant Engineer regarding technical issues
Additional Requirements:
∎ Primary knowledge on CCTV and Access Control System Operations
∎ Clear knowledge about handling security issues
∎ knowledge on security and political situation affecting BRAC
∎ Competent to take decision in a critical situation
∎ Self-awareness
∎ Dealing with ambiguity
∎ Courage and Prioritizing
∎ Minimum 1 year of working experience in relevant field
