Experience:
Professional experience will be 10 years.
Inspect, test, and grade incoming electronic equipment (computers, appliances, telecom gear, and circuit boards) to evaluate functional integrity versus scrap value.
Diagnose electrical and electronic hardware to identify reusable components, components requiring repair, or materials slated for immediate recycling.
Separate circuit boards, copper wiring, batteries, display panels, and power supplies following company sorting guidelines.
Operate power tools, manual tools, and specialized recovery equipment to safely dismantle complex electronic assemblies.
Safely remove and isolate hazardous materials—including lithium-ion batteries, cathode-ray tubes (CRTs), capacitors, and mercury-containing bulbs—in full compliance with safety standards.
Maximize material recovery rates for non-ferrous and precious metals (copper, aluminum, gold-bearing PCBs, steel) prior to shredding or melting processes.
Perform routine preventive maintenance, cleaning, and calibration on plant machinery (shredders, cable strippers, granulators, hydraulic balers, and sorting conveyors).
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic faults on processing equipment to minimize operational downtime.
Execute minor repairs, replacement of worn parts, and wiring adjustments as directed by the Plant Engineer.
Strictly adhere to occupational safety policies, wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times (respirators, heavy-duty gloves, protective eyewear).
Maintain safe storage protocols for hazardous waste to prevent soil, air, or water contamination within the recycling facility.
Keep workspace clean and organized, adhering to 5S / workplace safety standards.
Log daily processing weights, equipment test results, and maintenance service records in plant logbooks or digital tracking tools.
Monitor spare parts inventory, reporting low stock or necessary tool replacements to the shift supervisor.
