∎ Bachelor's degree in any discipline
∎ Minimum graduate preferred BSc. In Entomology/Animal Husbandry/ Poultry Production Experience
∎ 5 to 7 years of proven experience in leading operations teams preferably in the agriculture or animal feed industry.
∎ In-depth knowledge of insect farming, entomology, and related technologies.
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
∎ Good English verbal & written communication skill.
∎ Willingness to travel as needed.
∎ Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
∎ Effective communication skills to convey complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Establish, operationalize, and commercialize the farm.
∎ Oversee the capacity-building activities of the farms and other stakeholders.
∎ Organization of planned activities, trials, and procurement of materials required for their execution.
∎ Technology dissemination on insect production.
∎ Working towards improving insect performance in terms of growth and survival.
∎ Ensuring that all the production inputs are available on time.
∎ Establish and implement robust quality control protocols for all stages of insect farming.
∎ Designing research/ experiments/technology geared towards improving insect productivity.
∎ Conduct thorough inspections and analysis to identify areas for improvement and maintain product consistency.
∎ Market support and development for commercialization of poultry feed production using BSF larva as an alternative protein source.
∎ Ensure periodic training of the team and support the team by delivering training, especially in the field of the latest production, machinery, and equipment.
∎ Share knowledge of processes, techniques and products with the team to enhance their skill levels.
∎ Reporting on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis and activity reports.
∎ Risk prevention and reporting as well as mitigation measures suggested and action taken.
