Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure seamless coordination of all reservations for training sessions, workshops, meetings, and guest accommodations, focusing on smooth execution and adherence to reservation specifications.
∎ Provide guidance, supervision, and support to the BLC operations team to ensure consistent service quality, high operational efficiency, and alignment with organizational objectives.
∎ Prepare and implement the annual budget and procurement plans, ensuring cost efficiency by adhering to consumption standards and maximizing revenue to meet profitability targets.
∎ Ensure the quality of service delivery, including accommodation, meals, meeting rooms, and training equipment, by upholding high standards for cleanliness, hygiene, and overall facility appearance.
∎ Conduct local branding activities to increase occupancy and usage of BLC’s services while enhancing community visibility and fostering strong relationships with clients.
∎ Supervise daily activities such as store management, staff rosters, VAT/tax submissions, and billing, ensuring compliance with policies, operational guidelines, and smooth day-to-day operations.
∎ Plan and execute annual staff development initiatives, promoting a learning-focused environment to enhance service standards, professional growth, and employee performance.
∎ Oversee construction and maintenance activities within BLC premises, ensuring compliance with approved designs and maintaining a safe, functional, and attractive environment for all guests and staff.
∎ Prepare, verify, and submit accurate operational reports and documents to meet audit requirements, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
∎ This position will be responsible for driving operational excellence and ensuring the profitability of BLC by managing all daily operations, enhancing guest satisfaction, and fostering cross-departmental coordination. This role will involve identifying and addressing operational challenges, implementing best practices, and creating a learning-focused environment that supports continuous improvement. Additionally, the position will entail developing and executing strategic initiatives that promote financial stability, maximize revenue, and achieve overall profit objectives while balancing operational efficiency and professional development within the team.
