Responsibilities & Context:
Technician interventional Cardiology shall the assist the consultants in conducting wide range of invasive cardiac tests, under direct supervision, for diagnostic and therapeutics purposes.
The Cardiac Cath Lab Technician Prepares Cardiac Catheterization lab.
Assists during procedures.
To maintain Cath Lab schedule.
Patient preparation pre-procedure is assisted with as needed
Procedure/supply setup is consistently and appropriately performed.
Procedure equipment is prepared and calibrated as needed.
Supplies are received and stocked appropriately.
Supplies are assessed, reordered and par levels are consistently maintained.
Records of TLD badges and Lead aprons are maintained.
Manages and organizes roster to maintain 24 hour coverage for the cardiology on call consultant.
