Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Production Planning: Develop and implement production schedules to ensure that products are manufactured efficiently and meet deadlines.
∎ Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, including manpower, materials, and machinery, to optimize productivity.
∎ Quality Control: Monitor production processes to maintain product quality standards and resolve any quality-related issues.
∎ Cost Management: Ensure production is cost-effective by managing budgets and minimizing waste.
∎ Team Supervision: Lead and manage the production team, providing guidance, training, and motivation.
∎ Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve production processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce operational costs.
∎ Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure that all safety regulations and workplace standards are followed during production.
∎ Inventory Management: Coordinate with the supply chain team to maintain the availability of raw materials and avoid production delays.
∎ Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any technical or operational issues that arise during production.
∎ Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as engineering, marketing, and sales, to ensure seamless operations and product delivery.
