Responsibilities & Context: Ventura Leatherware Mfy (BD) Ltd, a 100% Export Oriented Enterprise in Uttara EPZ, is searching for most suitable candidates for the position of Travel Desk Officer. Travel Desk Officer is responsible for managing and coordinating travel arrangements for employees and guests, ensuring efficient and cost-effective travel solutions. This role involves handling inquiries, visa & work permit processing, booking air ticket and accommodations, and providing travel-related support to ensure a seamless travel experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel Coordination: Arrange and confirm itineraries for flights, accommodations, and ground transportation; manage bookings and maintain records.
- Customer Service: Provide comprehensive support to employees and clients by addressing inquiries and offering guidance on travel policies and visa requirements, including e-Visa processes. For expatriates, independently manage tasks such as work permit extension and cancellation. Additionally, coordinate with the National Security Intelligence (NSI) and Special Branch (SB) regarding police clearance requirements.
- Budget Management: Monitor travel expenses, ensure budget compliance, and prepare expenditure reports.
- Vendor Relations: Negotiate with airlines, hotels, and car services to secure competitive rates and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Travel Policy Compliance: Ensure adherence to company travel policies; update policies and train employees as needed.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate travel records and assist with documentation preparation, including itineraries.
