Experience: 3–5 years in ESG, CSR, community relations, public affairs or compliance; multinational or government liaison experience preferred.
Job Summary:
The ESG & Community Relations Manager will lead the company’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) initiatives across Bangladesh operations. The role will build strong relationships with communities, government authorities and stakeholders, ensure regulatory compliance and ethical standards, and coordinate ESG activities with Chinese management and HQ teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Community & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Serve as liaison with local communities, NGOs and stakeholders.
- Implement community investment programs and manage grievance mechanisms.
Government & Regulatory Affairs:
- Maintain communication with government authorities and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Monitor regulatory changes and manage required documentation.
Vocational Education Partnership:
- Coordinate vocational training initiatives with local institutes and authorities.
Manage enrollment, curriculum coordination and trainee progress tracking.
Environmental Management:
- Support environmental data collection (energy, water, waste, emissions) for ESG reporting.
- Promote green initiatives and assist with environmental audits.
Compliance & Anti-Corruption:
- Promote ethical practices and ensure adherence to anti-corruption policies.
- Monitor donations and external payments for transparency and compliance.
- Conduct staff awareness sessions on compliance and ethics.
Reporting & Communication:
- Prepare ESG reports, case studies, and internal communications.
Coordinate data and updates with HQ ESG teams.
- Saturday will be treated as a half-working day/half day off.
