Responsibilities & Context:
Job Details: As a Contract Specialist (Claim Expert), you will be responsible for identifying, preparing, and managing contractual claims in accordance with FIDIC and other international standards. This role plays a critical part in safeguarding the company’s commercial interests across infrastructure projects, requiring expert knowledge in claim submission, variation management, and dispute resolution.
Identify claimable events and prepare claims for cost, time extensions (EOT), and price adjustments.
Draft and submit claim notices, detailed calculation sheets, and supporting documentation.
Analyze and report on delay impacts; coordinate with the Employer/Engineer.
Participate in variation assessments and ensure proper valuation of site changes.
Interpret and apply FIDIC and other contract provisions; advise internal teams on contractual issues.
Maintain organized claim records and assist in progress measurement, valuation, and payment processes.
Support the resolution of contractual disputes and recommend practical solutions aligned with project goals.
