Responsibilities & Context:
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation, submission of all credit-related regulatory reports to Bangladesh Bank eg. Classified Loan (CL) statements, Credit Information Bureau (CIB) reporting, large exposure statements, etc.

  • Interpret and implement regulatory guidelines and circulars issued by Bangladesh Bank related to credit reporting.

  • Implement and maintain the Risk-Based Supervision (RBS) reporting framework as per Bangladesh Bank directives.

  • Develop and maintain reporting frameworks aligned with IFRS 9 or local regulatory guidelines for Expected Credit Losses.

  • Act as the main point of contact with Bangladesh Bank for queries and clarifications related to credit reporting.

  • Oversee data collection and validation processes to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and completeness across all regulatory submissions.

  • Work closely with Information Technology (IT) and Credit teams to improve automation and reconciliation of reporting data.

  • Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulatory requirements concerning credit reporting.

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders such as Credit Risk Management, Compliance, Finance, IT, Business Units, and Internal Audit to support accurate reporting and risk assessment.

  • Respond to internal and external audit queries and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.

  • Provide training and knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance team expertise on regulatory changes and data management.

  • Drive continuous improvement in the reporting process by implementing automation, control enhancements, and process efficiencies.

  • Provide regular updates and exception reports to the Head of Credit Administration and senior management on regulatory sub-missions, breaches (if any), and key developments.
