Responsibilities & Context:

The Officer – R&D (Chef) will be responsible for developing new food products and improving existing processed frozen and marinated meat products. The role focuses on aligning product innovation with current market trends, customer preferences, and the operational requirements of business franchises. The position will work closely with production, quality assurance, and marketing teams to ensure successful product development, standardization, and commercialization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and innovate new processed meat, frozen food, and marinated product recipes.

  • Improve and refine existing product formulations to enhance taste, texture, shelf life, and cost efficiency.

  • Conduct product trials, testing, and sensory evaluations for new and modified products.

  • Research and analyze market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor products to support product development strategies.

  • Standardize recipes, preparation procedures, and production methods for commercial scale manufacturing.

  • Work closely with production and quality assurance teams to ensure product consistency, safety, and compliance with food safety standards.

  • Support franchise and business partners by developing menu concepts and product applications.

  • Ensure proper documentation of R&D activities, formulations, and test results.

  • Participate in pilot production and scale-up processes for new product launches.

  • Continuously explore innovative ingredients, processing techniques, and packaging methods.
