Key responsibilities
Conduct continuous floor checks and audits to enforce strict adherence to all established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across processing, testing, and packaging activities.
Maintain and uphold all necessary documentation, facility standards, and operational practices required to retain and manage the facility's ISO Certification.
Perform, schedule, and document the routine calibration of all required laboratory and field-testing equipment (e.g., moisture meters, weighing scales, temperature gauges, machinery diagnostic tools) to ensure absolute precision in all quality metrics.
Execute timely seed setting for germination tests and meticulously preserve the counting results.
Conduct mandatory moisture tests prior to all seed grading and treatment processes, ensuring all operational checklists are updated.
Preserve seed samples systematically, ensuring accurate categorization by lot and variety.
Manage seed loting and de-loting processes and ensure quality cards are accurately updated according to the schedule.
Monitor and maintain daily logs of temperature and relative humidity for both the Godown (warehouse) and outdoor conditions.
Maintain the store in a strictly dry and clean condition through daily cleaning routines, periodic insecticide spraying, and space fumigation.
Conduct physical and chemical quality checks on inbound and outbound batches to ensure formulation consistency, proper packaging integrity, and strict adherence to safety and shelf-life expiry guidelines.
Enforce strict food safety, purity, and adulteration checks for commodity products (e.g., honey, rice, lentils), closely monitoring moisture content in grains and viscosity/purity standards for honey.
Collect accurate testing data across all portfolios and maintain thoroughly updated Quality Control registers.
Assist in preparing all quality-related reports for management needs and keep all related operational registers updated.
Act as the primary technical investigator for all field-level and customer product complaints across all portfolios by analyzing laboratory reference samples against defective field samples to determine root causes, thoroughly documenting findings, and coordinating with management to implement immediate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Safeguarding responsibilities
Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
