  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in dairy farm operations.

  • Practical experience in cattle management, milking, feeding, breeding and farm supervision will be preferred.



Responsibilities & Context:

Department: Dairy Farm / Livestock

Reports To: Farm Manager / Farm In-Charge

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily dairy farm operations, including feeding, watering, milking, cleaning and general cattle care.

  • Monitor cattle health, nutrition, breeding, growth and milk production and report abnormalities to the Farm Manager.

  • Ensure proper milking procedures, hygiene, milk handling, storage and quality standards are maintained.

  • Supervise farm workers, assign duties, monitor attendance and ensure efficient completion of daily activities.

  • Maintain records of milk production, feed consumption, breeding, vaccination, medication, cattle health and mortality.

  • Ensure proper vaccination, deworming, veterinary treatment, disease prevention and biosecurity practices.

  • Monitor feed, medicines, equipment and other farm supplies and minimize wastage.

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of cattle sheds, milking areas, feeding areas and surrounding premises.

  • Coordinate with veterinarians regarding animal health, treatment, breeding, vaccination, and disease control.

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on milk production, cattle health, feed consumption and overall farm performance.
