Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor Degree from any discipline preferable in Hotel management.
∎ Post Graduate in Housekeeping Management would be preferred.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 7 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Dealing with suppliers of linen, cleaning materials and guest supplies.
∎ Overseeing stock, takes budgets and other paperwork, such as maintenance reports and safety audits.
∎ Responsible to ensure smooth functionality of housekeeping, physical environment unit and laundry department with a high quality of standard.
∎ Ensure that all the In-charges, supervisor are performing their job properly.
∎ Ensure cleaning services of all patients room, all offices and doctors room, corridors, floors, lobby area, lifts, stairs, conferences of the hospital, mosque, general toilets, car parking areas and all other areas of entrance of the hospital by deployed cleaners.
∎ Plan, coordinate and execute for roaster preparation, leave management of housekeeping, physical environment and infection control.
∎ Coordinate with the manager, In-charge, housekeeping supervisors and carry out their orders and commands.
∎ Responsible for ensuring smooth of clean tidy linen to all departments, Sections as well as floors of the hospital.
∎ Fully receptive and supportive in the activities that contribute towards continuous improvement of the housekeeping department.
∎ Ensure maintaining all sorts of furniture and fixtures of the hospital in a proper ways.
∎ To develop, implement and review all policies and procedures for the housekeeping, laundry, cleaning, waste management, infection control and physical environment unit.
∎ To maintain up to date knowledge and practice of housekeeping trends and new developments in the field.
∎ Ensure all the departmental expenses like cleaning, housekeeping laundry etc. are kept under control.
∎ Examine and reevaluate existing contract of vendors and suppliers of Housekeeping.
∎ Making sitting arrangements for CME, seminar in coordination with marketing /training department.
∎ Ensure training of Housekeeping, Cleaning & Laundry staff in coordination with UHL training.
∎ Work with purchase department to purchase housekeeping, cleaning and chemicals.
∎ Evaluates the performance of suppliers and contractors related to housekeeping, cleaning, waste management and laundry service.
∎ To maintain comprehensive records of housekeeping services of the hospital through using updated software.
∎ To ensure different sort of housekeeping requirement from different department and units are being addressed with utmost urgency and promptness.
∎ Ensure functioning of all Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Sanitary and HVAC items with in the room, ward and cabins in coordination with engineering department.
∎ To carry out any other function /administrative task as delegated by the management.
