Job Purpose
The Officer will review CVs and take mock Interviews to enhance the employability of students and job seekers by providing personalized support in preparing professional CVs and practicing interviews. The officer will guide beneficiaries to improve their presentation, communication, and job-readiness skills, helping them confidently face real-world job selection processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and provide constructive feedback on CVs and cover letters to ensure professional formatting, clarity, and alignment with job requirements.
Conduct one-on-one and group mock interview sessions tailored to specific industries or job roles.
Provide coaching on interview techniques, body language, communication style, and confidence-building.
Plan, organize, and coordinate different workshops like CV writing , tips and tricks for job interview, seminar on interview etiquettes by the relevant industry experts for the Career Hub participants.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry-specific job trends and employer expectations.
Develop and update CV templates, interview guides and resource materials for students and job seekers.
Track participant progress and provide follow-up support to improve performance.
Coordinate with career counselors, industry experts and trainers to ensure a holistic approach to career development.
Prepare and submit regular reports on the number of CV reviews and mock interviews conducted along with participant feedback and outcomes.
Support career fairs, job readiness workshops, and other employability enhancement activities as needed.
Safeguarding Responsibilities
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organization and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation, including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA), to achieve the programme’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
