Job Context:
∎ The COVID-19 vaccine is an important mitigation measure to stop the spread of the pandemic. To provide the vaccine to the targeted Communities, the IRC Health Department is hiring Covid Response Officer-Host Community to supervise the vaccination program by the vaccinators.
∎ Contract Length: 6 Months (with possibility of extension)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Program Management and Development:
∎ Strictly follow up the medical and operational supply chain system, stock recording, timely ordering for the supplies and accountabilities in relation to the warehousing and using of the supplies including ambulance and vehicles.
∎ Promote the culture of learning and documentation so that lessons learned, and good practices are documented and shared for institutional memory and learning. Ensure that field experiences are documented and used to advocate on behalf of the communities.
∎ Monitor and supervise the vaccination program and follow the protocol from the Govt. and sector.
∎ Help the Health Manager assessing unmet needs in the IRC supported health facilities.

∎ Staff Supervision & Development
∎ Maintain open and professional relations with team members, promoting a strong team spirit and providing oversight and guidance to enable staff (vaccinator & community Mobilizer) to successfully perform in their positions.
∎ Supervision and Monitoring for the Community Mobilizers and help them to compile the data from the community mobilization.
∎
∎ Other Duties:
∎ Consistently and proactively monitor/assess the safety and security of field teams, promptly reporting concerns or incidents to Supervisor/IRC management and liaising with other external parties as required to maintain/enhance the security environment.
∎ Other duties as assigned by the supervisor to enable and develop IRC programs.

∎ Knowledge, Skills & Competences:
∎ Ability and flexibility to understand the cultural and political environment and to work well with the local health representatives.
∎ Previous experience of working with a multi-disciplinary team in a cross-cultural setting
∎ Excellent computer skills in programs such as: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and any data management software
∎ Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure in a stressful environment, displaying patience, compassion and diplomacy.
∎ Ability to be innovative, flexible, and adaptive.
∎ Ability to live in challenging conditions and ability to work under difficult, high-pressure situations.
∎ Ability to work independently and to organize and prioritize workload using own initiative.
∎ Willing to travel to health facilities regularly and as required.
∎ Ability to drive Motorcycle with valid driving license.
∎ Fluency in English preferable.
