Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure adherence to all applicable Bangladesh Labor Law-2006, regulations, and buyer-specific codes of conduct.
∎ Coordinate and support all types of compliance audits; track and implement Corrective Action Plans (Caps) to address non-conformists.
∎ Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance documentation, records, and checklists through continuous monitoring and reporting.
∎ Conduct training sessions and awareness programs on compliance, safety, chemical handling, and labor rights for employees and committee members.
∎ Oversee Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) compliance, risk assessments, incident investigations, and ensure a safe working environment aligned with environmental regulations.
∎ Support grievance handling, employee counseling, and welfare initiatives including medical, canteen, and childcare facilities.
∎ Monitor and ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulatory requirements, and international standards such as Amfori BSCI, GRS, RCS etc.
∎ Develop, implement, and update compliance programs, policies, and procedures to align with current laws, buyer expectations, and best practices.
