Responsibilities & Context:
∎ To ensure file management of the office.
∎ To assist in procurement.
∎ To assist in arranging meetings and events.
∎ To provide support in hosting visits.
∎ To dispatch/collect documents/goods as per requirement.
∎ To receive goods and materials.
∎ To assist in data entry.
∎ To help in external communication.
∎ To supervise cleaning services.
∎ To help in documentation including photography.
∎ To assist in travel management.
∎ To help in repair and maintenance of the premise and equipment.
∎ To maintain the tea-coffee corner.
∎ To help in digitizing documents.
∎ To maintain Fixed Asset list and check regularly.
∎ To process bills and claims.
∎ Promote and contribute to ongoing efforts towards gender equity, child protection, inclusiveness, accessibility and discrimination free environment in the workplace and operations/activities/plans.
∎ To maintain strict confidentiality of information, documents and other internal and external communications.
∎ To carry out any other relevant tasks assigned by the authority as and when necessary.
∎ Nature of Job: Fixed-Term Contractual Staff (Core Position).
∎ Job Location: A K Khan UCEP Polytechnic Institute (AKKUPI), Kalurghat, Chattogram.
∎ Job Purpose: To perform general duties like carrying messages, letters, general cleaning, photocopying etc. and to assist other staff of the component & carry out day to day ancillary work in line with UCEP Bangladesh’s values, vision, mission, goals and relevant country laws.
∎ Job Responsibilities:
