∎ Diploma in Nursing Science & Midwfiry, BSC in nursing is preferable.

∎ Age at least 18 years
∎ Desirable: At least 2 years of experience working with adults and pediatric patients.
∎ Essential: Bengali, English (basic), Rohingya Language
∎ Competences: communication skills, humanitarian and empathetic skills, creativity andflexibility, Teamwork capabilities; Organizational skills; Ability to work in stressful situations.General overview of the medical activities in the department.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ 1. Patient Care
∎ • Categorize and triage patients.
∎ • Assist doctors during rounds and medical procedures.
∎ • Follow medical prescriptions and administer treatments.
∎ • Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatments.
∎ • Maintain accurate treatment records.
∎ 2. Hygiene Protocols
∎ • Follow handwashing and waste sorting protocols.
∎ • Ensure cleanliness of the work environment and patient hygiene.
∎ 3. Patient Monitoring
∎ • Record medical parameters and report patient complaints.
∎ • Recognize and respond to critical symptoms.
∎ • Monitor patients with IV drips and tubes.
∎ • Assist with patient meals and organize health education sessions.
∎ • Maintain accurate records and assist with patient transfers.
∎ 4. Handover Management
∎ • Document and communicate shift activities and patient updates.
∎ • Participate in team meetings for patient status updates.
∎ 5. Medication and Material Management
∎ • Conduct stock takes and place orders as needed.
∎ • Manage sterilization of materials.
∎ • Inform supervisors of departmental needs.
∎ 6. Data and Statistics
∎ • Maintain health records and participate in data collection.
∎ 7. Training
∎ • Participate in and, if necessary, lead training sessions for staff.
