We are looking for a skilled and passionate Node.js Backend Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining scalable backend applications and APIs while collaborating with frontend developers and product teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and Express.js.

• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Integrate third-party APIs and external services.

• Design and optimize database schemas and queries for MySQL, PostgreSQL or MongoDB.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.

• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT and OAuth.

• Ensure application security, performance, and scalability.

• Troubleshoot and debug production issues.

• Collaborate with frontend developers, UI/UX designers and DevOps engineers.

• Participate in code reviews and maintain technical documentation.

• Work with Git for version control and CI/CD pipelines.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.

• Candidates with strong practical experience are encouraged to apply.

Experience Requirements

• 4–5 years of professional experience in Node.js backend development.

• Freshers with exceptional projects and internship experience may also be considered for junior positions.

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Node.js and Express.js.

• Experience with REST APIs and backend architecture.

• Good knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.

• Experience with MongoDB and/or MySQL/PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with Redis and caching mechanisms.

• Understanding of authentication methods such as JWT and OAuth.

• Experience with Docker and cloud platforms is a plus.

• Knowledge of Git and version control workflows.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture is an advantage.
