Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Design and implement network infrastructure for data centers and cloud environments.
∎ Configure and manage network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
∎ Optimize network performance by monitoring traffic and troubleshooting issues.
∎ Implement network security best practices, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection.
∎ Manage cloud networking (VPC, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, Interconnect).
∎ Implement Software-Defined Networking (SDN) for automation and scalability.
∎ Ensure network redundancy and disaster recovery through failover and BGP peering.
∎ Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams to integrate network solutions with cloud services.
∎ Maintain documentation and provide support for network configurations and troubleshooting.
∎ Stay updated with emerging networking technologies and propose improvements.
∎ Job Context:
∎ We are looking for a Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain a high-performance network infrastructure for our data center and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring network devices, ensuring security, optimizing performance, and troubleshooting network issues. This role requires expertise in SDN, BGP, MPLS, VPNs, firewalls, and cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
