Educational Requirements:
∎ 4 years Graduation / Post Graduate Diploma or university degree in the field of computer science / Information Technology /EEE/ ECE or equivalent and 3 years’ equivalent work experience.
∎ Certifications in Data Center / Cisco / Juniper / Linux / Microsoft /HP / IBM / DELL/ ITIL or related field.
∎ Have Training on SDN / Server / Network Virtualization / Mobility Solutions/ Network Security etc.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
∎ Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
∎ Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
∎ Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
∎ Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
∎ Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
∎ Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team
∎ Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
∎ Perform Network design and Implementation of network related projects.
∎ Maintain operational level agreements with end users.
∎ Acquisition & Deployment
∎ Interact or co-ordinate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors for related solutions, support and service according to agreed SLA.
∎ Conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards.
∎ Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end user workstation hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
∎ Operational Management
∎ Manage all network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches and other networking devices.
∎ Ensure network connectivity of all workstations.
∎ Administer all network related equipment, hardware and software upgrades including unified communication systems.
∎ Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information.
∎ Perform system backups and recovery.
∎ Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports to maintain SLA.
∎ Recommend, schedule, and perform network improvements, upgrades, and repairs.
∎ Manage security solutions, including firewall, anti-virus, and intrusion detection systems in accordance with BG Information Security.
∎ Implement related accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with BG Information Security Policy.
∎ Manage and/or provide guidance to junior members of the team.
∎ Any task assigned by Management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Skill in managing and configuring enterprise LANs, WANs, WLANs, VPNs and others switching and routing protocol etc.
∎ Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware such as servers, firewalls, routers, bridges, switches, modems, network interface cards, and so on.
∎ Knowledge and understanding of system flow charts, data processing concepts, and telecommunications principles.
∎ Experience installing network cabling and patching telephony systems
∎ Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
∎ Working technical knowledge of network, PC, and platform operating systems.
∎ Experience in current network systems software, protocols, and standards, including Firewalls, Active Directory etc.
∎ Strong knowledge in CISCO, PaloAlto and other networking technologies.
∎ Experience in Collaboration services (MS Exchange, SharePoint, skype for business, PKI infrastructure, NAP, SCOM, SCSM, SCCM, ADRMS, File Server, Hyper-V etc.)
∎ Hands-on network, software and hardware troubleshooting experience.
∎ Exceptional technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems
∎ Experience documenting and maintaining configuration and process information.
∎ Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
∎ Strong written and oral communication skills.
∎ Strong interpersonal skills.
∎ Ability to conduct research into networking issues and products as required.
∎ Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
∎ Highly self-motivated and directed.
∎ Keen attention to detail.
∎ Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
∎ Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
∎ Strong customer service orientation.
∎ Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
∎ 6 Days a week.
∎ 40-hour on-site work weekly with on-call availability.
∎ May be required to sit for extended periods of time.
∎ Travel may be required to concerned UNIT, Factory or Business areas.
∎ Occasional inspection / monitor ongoing projects and infrastructure setup.
