Educational Requirements:
∎ University degree in relevant environmental fields, development studies, economics, etc.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage Swedish funding support within the thematic area of expertise including assessing funding applications, risk analysis, implementation follow-up, dialogue, review results, follow-up on financial and audit and document the work.
∎ Monitor, analyze and report on results in the relevant thematic areas.
∎ Assist in analyzing & planning environment and climate portfolio with a view to assess and determine how objectives of Swedish bilateral cooperation strategy are being achieved.
∎ Participate in relevant sector working groups and coordination mechanism along with other donors, international partners, and government representatives.
∎ Coordinate and communicate with counterparts from Sida headquarters and other Swedish embassies, when needed, to contribute to relevant Sida networks.
∎ Contribute to quality assurance processes of the Development Cooperation Section.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience with development cooperation, and with at least 3 years in programme or project management in international development, preferably within environment, climate change, resilience, biodiversity and ecosystems.
∎ Experience of strategic dialogue with various actors
∎ Experience and good knowledge of anti-corruption in a development context.
∎ Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
∎ Proficient in English and Bangla
∎ Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team and respect individual differences.
