As an MTO – Category, you will support category strategy, analyze trends, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure the right products reach the right shelves at the right time, while building a strong foundation for a career in modern retail management.
Key Responsibilities:
Supplier & Vendor Management
Maintain strong relationships with vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and promotions.
Coordinate with suppliers on product launches, promotions, and stock planning.
Category Strategy & Planning
Assist in developing and executing category strategies aligned with company objectives.
Prepare category business plans, sales forecasts, and growth initiatives.
Market Analysis and Decision Support:
Analyze sales data, inventory levels, and market trends to drive insights.
Track KPIs such as sales growth, margin, sell-through, and stock turnover.
Coordination with Internal Stakeholders:
Collaborate regularly with cross-functional teams such as Supply Chain, Marketing, Operations, and Sales to implement category plans.
Product Assortment
Ensure the right product mix is available at the right time and location.
