Experience:

• A minimum of 5 years of work experience in monitoring and evaluation in development or education-related projects.
• Have knowledge about the Result Matrix and Monitoring indicators for progress measurement
• Knowledge of office systems, including experience with computer applications and statistical software (e.g. Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience in conducting capacity-building initiatives for field-level staff regarding data collection and monitoring activities
• Experience in capturing lessons learned and best practices from the field and preparing case story/MSC stories for donor
• Prior experience in working with Real-Time Monitoring (RTM) systems and data management system
• Familiarity with electronic data collection methods (e.g. Kobo Collect, ODK, google sheet, google form, etc.) is an advantage
• Experience in working data analysis software like MS Excel, SPSS, and MS Access) is required
• Experience in data visualization tools for sharing the results with the project team and the management
• Willingness to travel to project sites within wards in Dhaka City Corporation areas.
• Experience in quantitative and qualitative research, sampling methodology, and data analysis is desirable.
• An established record of accomplishment of achieving results within difficult working environments is required e, the ability to multi-task and work under pressure and tight deadlines and with a team of colleagues.
• Possesses good analytical and report-writing skills with a proven command of English and Bangla.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Fluency in both English and Bangla languages is required.
• Able to produce periodic reports (Monthly, quarterly, and Annual) basis for donors and able to drive a motorcycle with a valid driving license.

Jagorani Chakra Foundation (JCF) is a national voluntary social welfare organization. JCF is implementing Educate the Most Disadvantaged Children (EMDC) Project supported by UNICEF. To ensure the quality implementation of the project, JCF intends to recruit project staff from qualified candidates of Bangladeshi nationals.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for executing the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Research activities in the project implementing area efficiently.
• Designing appropriate monitoring methodologies, tools, and techniques both for qualitative and quantitative aspects including progress and effectiveness of the project, supporting the analysis and the formative research consistent with the approved documentation, and reporting plan.
• Work closely with the project and community teachers and provide support to maintain data consistency and to ensure the data entry properly in a timely manner by the staff using the format and visit regular meetings/workshops/training with projects in regards to documentation and reporting related activities.
• Providing day-to-day technical assistance to the project staff at the Field Offices in order to coordinate, collect, compile, and feedback on field-based data.
• Prepare different data collection tools for the project and coordinate the data collection process.
• Coordinate the all-reporting activities and finally prepare the report for the donor as required.
• Share the result on a monthly basis with the project team and management as well as provide necessary recommendations to the respective personnel.
• Perform any other assignment provided by the supervisor.
• Follow the organization's Child Safeguarding, PSEA, Gender, and WB Policy.

Consolidated Tk. 71,461 per month and other admissible benefits as per organizational policy as well as the project.
