Job Context:
∎ WDDF is a non-profit, voluntary organization registered with the Joint Stock Company (Registration no. S 72/16(405)/07), Date: 11 November 2007) and NGOAB (Registration No. 2911, Date: 8 January 2015). Women with Disabilities Development Foundation (WDDF) is a voluntary, non- political, non- profitable, non-governmental and women with Disabilities rights-based organization. It is a self-help organization of enhancing Women with Disabilities` equal representation in the mainstream part of the society and proactive participating organization of, for and by women with Disabilities, working to actualize their aspirations and hopes for all intents and purposes to enable them to serve as self-reliant and dynamic participants in society. WDDF is run and managed by Women with Disabilities which has constitutionally been enrolling and engaging Women with Disabilities in planning, implementing and managing of its programs from grassroots to national level. WDDF is dedicated directly to work with Women with Disabilities and they are beneficiaries and owners of this organization. The project will be implemented by WDDF with financed by Women Fund Asia (WFA). WDDF is going to recruit the `MEAL Officer` for the mentioned project and the position`s desk office will be at Dhaka.
∎ Tenure of Services Contract: 6 (Six) months` probation period. After successful completion of the probation period, based on the performance of the staff and recommendation from the supervisor, the post may be continued till the project`s lifetime.
∎ Job Location: Head Office, Dhaka but frequently field visit in project location
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare Monitoring and Evaluation Plan: The MEAL officer is the overall responsible to prepare detailed monitoring and evaluation plan for the project and align with monitoring framework.
∎ Develop M&E Tools: a) Develop data collection tools for Women with Disabilities desegregated data and analysis plan for this project based on the log frame and indicators, b) Set indicator level target and prepare progress measurement template, c) Support to MEAL focal of WDDF to develop progress trackers.
∎ Field Visit for Program Monitoring: a) Prepare a monitoring checklist covering all aspect of interventions of the project b) Carryout regular monitoring exercises through regular field visit in the project locations to monitor and evaluate project implementation (in accordance with Monitoring plan, and progress trackers), c) Provide regular feedback and recommendations for actions to the project team based on the monitoring findings.
∎ Program Planning and Implementation: a) Support to develop project Baseline and End line, project progress measurement, Disability and vulnerability mapping, identification of beneficiaries, research, evaluation, assessment and survey plan and execution the plan, b) Plan and lead learning exercise/ event at field level and share the learning/ knowledge widely, c) Develop and maintain Management Information System (MIS) for the Project (storage of data, reports, secondary research, process documentation, outcome stories) and maintain database for case management, d) Ensure proper documentation, dissemination & application of learning in the project cycle management. e) Selection of case studies and collection stories, data, photographs, videos as per requirement of the project and instruction from donor.
∎ Capacity building of the project team:
∎ Facilitate capacity building training for the project staff and maintain regular coordination on MEAL issues
∎ Organize/facilitate training to improve teams' skills on MEAL
∎ Provide coaching/mentoring staff and on-the-job training to improve skills of other project staff
∎ Facilitate the project review, reflection and learning workshops to document lessons learned, gaps, challenges and recommendations and prepare learning report to inform decision making and capitalize learning.
∎ Ensure regular MEAL data flow from the field and data quality: Develop a data collection flow within the project team to ensure regular MEAL data collection and data quality.
∎ Information Management and Reporting: a) Develop a documentation plan and ensure documentation of progress and learning of the project in an ongoing way, b) Develop and maintain project database on beneficiary coverage (total reach) and share with team on a regular basis (e.g. Monthly, quarterly, annually), c) Support in process documentation, outcome stories and human interest stories from the project to share in various stakeholders, d) Support to Project Manager in the reporting process of the project. d) Perform data analysis using statistical software's (SPSS, STATA, Excel) and interpret statistical and qualitative data for use in decision-making.
∎ Security and Safeguarding: Understands and applies security policies, the Safeguarding Policy and fraud prevention policies
∎ Others: Be able and willing to respond to natural disasters or emergency situations, when needed and any other task assigned by Supervisor and /or Senior Management of WDDF.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Working Experience: Must have at least 3 years of experience in equivalent position of the relevant filed.
∎ Applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Working experience in Program in a National / International NGO.
∎ Persons with Disabilities specially Women with Disabilities candidate are encouraged to apply.
∎ Work experience on Disability field/Movement and community development at rural community will be given priority in selection process.
∎ Able to work under pressure and willing to frequent travel to field area of the project area.
∎ Good writing and speaking skills in English and Bangla.
∎ Must have computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MIS, Kobo.

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Yearly 2 festival bonus equivalent one month salary
∎ Office time, Annual Leave, Increment & other facilities will be applicable as per 'Recruitment and Human Resource Management Policy' of WDDF and the facilities will be applicable also based on available resources in the project budget.
