Experience:
• Women candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Public Health, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field. A degree in Nutrition or Public Health with relevant coursework is preferred.
• Exposure to MNCH, EPI, or community health programmes is an added advantage.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in community engagement, particularly in health and/or nutrition programmes, SBC, AAP, RCCE or similar fields.
• Experience in Rohingya refugee programmes is highly preferred.
• Proven experience in supervising field teams or volunteers.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and public speaking skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and team supervision ability.
• Experience in community nutrition programmes (CMAM, MIYCN, BSFP/TSFP, IYCF).
• Knowledge of community health systems, referral pathways, and immunization programmes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to take timely action.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• High resilience, adaptability, and sound decision-making skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Bangla and English; Rohingya dialect is an asset.
• Experience in training facilitation and community capacity strengthening.
• Familiarity with data collection tools (e.g., ODK) and information systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong commitment to equity, inclusion, safeguarding, PSEA, and anti-corruption principles.

Job Summary:
The Multipurpose Community Volunteer (MCV) will work at the community level to promote positive behaviors related to health, nutrition, WASH, education, and child protection. The role involves conducting household visits, facilitating community sessions, supporting basic nutrition and health services, and strengthening community engagement and feedback mechanisms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct household visits and interpersonal communication (IPC) sessions.
• Facilitate mother, father, adolescent, community, and religious groups.
• Promote key health, nutrition, hygiene, education, and protection messages and practices.
• Conduct MUAC screening, identify SAM, MAM and provide refer malnutrition cases.
• Support enrolment in nutrition programmes (OTP, TSFP, BSFP, NSEP)
• Promote ANC, PNC, immunization, and maternal & child health services.
• Identify and refer sick children, high-risk pregnant women, and vulnerable cases
• Support awareness campaigns (e.g., vaccination, dengue, nutrition)
• Promote Digital Complaint, Feedback, and Redress Mechanism (CFRM)
• Maintain records and submit regular reports.
• Support emergency response and outbreak control activities
• Ensure safeguarding, PSEA, and child protection compliance.
