Job Context:
∎ The Monitoring and Documentation officer will be appointed under a MJF supported project of Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed (CRP). His/her work station will be CRP head office and will be working with Upzilla level disable people organizations under the name of Upzilla Disable People Development Councils (UDPDCs). He/she will be reportable to the project manager as well as to the concern authorities.
∎ Job Location: CRP-Savar with extensive field visit .
∎ Project Duration: Initially up to December, 2021 with the possibility of extension.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist Project coordinator in the progress of the project activities.
∎ Prepare quantitative, qualitative quarterly and other progress report, monitoring report, performance indicators/checklist.
∎ Assess the project activities, conduct workshops and PRA (FGDs) to identity the needs and rights of disabled people.
∎ Prepare monthly and yearly monitoring plan for visits to project areas.
∎ Taking interviews of stakeholders in the prescribed formats.
∎ Track and compile information from the field and report to the concern authorities on monitoring of program activities.
∎ Evaluate the quantitative achievements as per work plan.
∎ Liaise with the DPO's leaders, divisional project officers & Assistant project officers to ensure regular activities.
∎ Conduct regular visit to field for proper monitoring.
∎ Maintain database for monitoring and project base documentation in terms of events, documenting good practices, lessons-learned, cases etc.
∎ Carry out the duties assigned by the project manager as well as the concern authority
∎ Closely work with the Upzilla Disable People Development Councils (UDPDCs).
∎ Working with number of Upzilla/UDPDC located at different division.
∎ Working in the project team of CRP.
∎ Participate in the major activities/event of UDPDCS.
∎ Attend the meetings of the UDPDCs and helping to take important decisions
∎ Assist UDPDCs to organize all advocacy and awareness raising events.
∎ Suggesting UDPDCs maintaining different register and data base.
∎ Assist UDPDCs initiating different IGA and rehabilitation program
∎ Organizing different organizational development program for the UDPDCs
∎ Monitor the project related programmatic issues of the UDPDCs and helping for proper documentation.
∎ Arrange project planning meeting in head office in every month
∎ Prepare monthly action plan, quarterly activities plan, combined staffs plan, meeting minutes, ETC.
∎ Take advance for organizing different event and submit the adjustment and report to the head office in time.
∎ Prepare and collect the quarterly program report of the project and submit to the donor and concern department of CRP.
∎ Attend different home visit, survey and prepare the report.
∎ Maintain regular communication with the project stakeholders.
∎ Facilitate the arrangement and distribution of the mobility aid, equipment and capital support.
∎ Disburse UDPDCs fund and reimburse it with project accounts on quarterly basis.
∎ Facilitate in linking the DPO leaders with the duty bearers in awareness rising on disability rights.
∎ Compile quarterly, half yearly, annual and project complision report.
∎ Ensure necessary trainees for vocational and project training.
∎ Preparing different MoU, guidelines, contracts and policy documents for the UDPDCs.
∎ Facilitate the DPO leaders in organizational record keeping like, maintaining register, activity list and other documents.
∎ Facilitate in awareness rising on disability rights and education on preventive measures among the community people and also the UDPDC members.
∎ Facilitate the UDPDC members for their community activities and mobilization of the persons with disabilities.
∎ Support in mobilizing children with disabilities for their schooling.
∎ Any other duties as assigned by supervisor from time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 2 years of experience in monitoring and documentation
∎ Working experience with disabled people's organizations and the rights of persons with disabilities.
∎ Excellent writing and speaking skills in Bangla and English
∎ Excellent computer skill in Microsoft word, excel, power point and internet operations.
∎ Excellent motivational skill
∎ Positive and friendly mindset towards persons with disabilities.
∎ Good sensibility on gender
∎ Strong commitment and hard working
∎ Willing to frequent field visit
∎ Proficiency in both written and spoken English,

∎ CBR, Social Work, Counseling, Home Visit, Data Management, Program Organizing, Resource Mobilization, Vocational Training, etc.
