Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters' degree preferably in Statistics, population science, Social Sciences, Economics or equivalent with combination of qualifications and practical experience in relevant field. However, for truly deserving candidates, qualifications may be relaxed.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 7 to 8 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Based at CARE Bangladesh Dhaka Office
∎ The duration of the proposed contract is up to 31st March 2020
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 7-8 years relevant working experience in the monitoring and evaluation of development projects including at least 3 years in data management and analysis.
∎ Proven experience and expertise in developing monitoring and evaluation instruments and methodology.
∎ Have good understanding on gender & women economic empowerment issues.
∎ Have good understanding of DCED standard and MRM framework.
∎ Have good understanding of M4P / MSD approach and private sector engagement.
∎ Application of wider range of quantitative, qualitative and participatory approaches and techniques and innovation.
∎ Strong skills and knowledge for various assessments, data processing, analysis, synthesis and data interpretation.
∎ Good computer skills in MS Office (word, excel, access and power point) and SPSS for database management and reporting and also ability to train other are essential.
∎ Good understanding on ODK based data collection process and its functionality preferred.
∎ Good team player, strong listening skill and demonstrative learning attitude, hardworking and devotion who can adapt challenging situation without negotiating with compliance and quality.
∎ Self-motivated, independent worker with the ability to multi-task.
∎ Excellent data presentation and report writing skills.
∎ Having analytic skills in solving administrative problems.
∎ Proven communication skills dealing with staffs, stakeholders and other counterparts.
∎ Respect to CARE Core Values and adhere with policy and procedures.
∎ Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Bengali.
∎ Ensure and Promote GEDI and be GEDI sensitive, creating an enabling environment where diversity can flourish and all staff and stakeholders experience inclusion and appreciation.
