∎ Inclusive livelihood opportunity for Covid-19 affected households in three districts of Bangladesh is a one-year project under Muslim Aid UK, Bangladesh Field Office (MABFO) which aims to equip its technical and vocational institutes with more resources to train community members and help them gain the skill they would require getting into a job. The development of skills can contribute to structural transformation and economic growth by enhancing employability and labor productivity of the community during Covid-19 situation. Investment in a high-quality workforce can create a virtuous cycle, where relevant and quality skills enable productivity growth which result in more and better jobs for the current workforce and more public and private investment in the non-traditional skills. This project will facilitate Muslim Aid Institute of Technology (MAIT) in Jashore, Rangpur, Mirpur and Mohammdpur under MABFO to increase the employability and productivity for both the current and future workforce.
∎ This 12 months project will take the initiative to increase livelihood opportunities for youth and families across 3 districts in Bangladesh, by supporting MAIT in Jashore/Rangpur/Mirpur/Mohammadpur through updating their facilities, delivering 12 livelihood training modules, alongside additional business materials for selected trades, conducting a job fair, supporting beneficiaries with covid-19 materials, conducting a covid-19 impact study on the TVET sector, and providing cash grant to selected families.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Keep close contact with the local team of MAITs (Project Officer, Finance and Admin, and Field Officer) regarding monitoring, reporting and documentation purposes of the project.
∎ Support to the project team for data collection of the beneficiaries and preparing database for beneficiary list finalization and distribution.
∎ Support the project team in preparation of realistic action plan and also to ensure timely distribution of covid-19 materials, training modules, business materials for selected trades and other relevant equipment to the beneficiaries according to the plan.
∎ Checking the items and ensure both quality and quantity of the products.
∎ Maintain close contact with MEAL and Communication Manager in developing the monitoring plan for monitoring of the project interventions.
∎ Work closely with the Project Officer, Finance and Admin team and Field Officer of the project to produce qualitative and quantitative monthly and quarterly/interim reports.
∎ Prepare and send the monthly, quarterly/Interim report and project completion report on time.
∎ Develop M&E system as per donor requirements.
∎ Collect articles, case studies, best practices across the projects.
∎ Provide technical assistance on monitoring and data collection to field officers.
∎ Keep adequate contact with the stakeholders, govt. officials, local govt. and so on through regular meeting and field visit to get their feedback on potential problem in operating the programme.
∎ Fulfil other functions as or when necessary by the Head of Programmes, MEAL and Communication Manager, Procurement Officer and others based in MABFO.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ A minimum of five years of experience in M&E in I/NGOs.
∎ Proficiency in writing in English and Bangla
∎ Report writing in both languages
∎ Experience in Qualitative and Quantitative Research
∎ Computer (MS-Office including MS-Project)
∎ Strong written and oral communication skills
∎ Adept in project cycle management
∎ Working within a team
∎ Ability to work under pressure
∎ Demonstrating/safeguarding ethics and integrity
∎ Learning and sharing knowledge and encourage the learning of others.
∎ Informed and transparent decision making

Salary: Tk. 57500 (Monthly)
