- Since 2017, IRC has supported Rohingya Refugees and Bangladeshi nationalities communities in Cox`s Bazar, Khulna, Barisal, and Chittagong with integrated services. The organization also addresses climate change impacts by building resilience and promoting economic recovery, education, and protection.
Purpose
- Reporting to the Head of MEAL and Program Quality and technically supported by the Regional Measurement Advisor, Monitoring and Evaluation Expert will work in close collaboration with WB Project (Community Engagement and Mobilization on Gender Based Violence Prevention and Response, and Livelihood Training with Market Linkage) Management team and support teams to optimize monitoring and evaluation and opportunities of the IRC mission in Bangladesh to ensure high-quality programming for the clients we serve. Monitoring and Evaluation Expert is responsible for the design and implementation of multi-sectoral GBV and child marriage prevention and response and Livelihoods intervention of WB project while adhering to IRC, donor and GoB policies. He also supports the global ambitions of IRC Strategy 100, especially Data Ambition, program quality (IMPACT) standards and the Country Strategic Action Plan.
- To this end, Monitoring and Evaluation Expert is responsible for ensuring that a comprehensive MEAL Plan and Data Management System is in place, sufficiently resourced and successfully implemented from design, collection to visualization and the MEAL data is contributing to improve program quality and adoptive management. Monitoring and Evaluation Expert will serve as the key liaison and MEAL focal point with government stakeholders and will facilitate collaborative partnership.
