Experience:
Bachelor’s/Master’s in Business, Economics, Statistics, Finance, Engineering, Data/Analytics, or related discipline
Strong analytical thinking and structuring capability

The MIS & Market Intelligence Lead will serve as CBL’s central intelligence and decision-support function. This role combines Decision Intelligence, nationwide market census ownership, competitor tracking, and commercial insight to support pricing, promotions, and go-to-market (GTM) decisions—enabling faster, data-backed actions to protect margins and scale sustainably.
Design and own MIS frameworks covering:
Sales performance (daily/weekly/monthly)
Channel mix (own brand vs OEM)
Product-wise and region-wise performance
Seasonality vs plan tracking
Develop dashboards/reports that flag deviations early and enable proactive decisions
Ensure data accuracy, discipline, and consistency across teams
Lead and own a nationwide battery market census
Define and maintain: data formats, territory & micro-market mapping, cadence, validation rules
Work closely with Sales to train teams, ensure timely submissions, and resolve data gaps
Analyze census outputs to produce:
Brand presence/penetration maps
Market share estimates by region
Product/capacity trends
White-space and expansion opportunities
Maintain a weekly-updated competitor intelligence tracker
Track: competitor pricing by SKU/region, promotional schemes, field marketing activity, new launches/spec changes
Proactively flag sudden pricing moves, aggressive promos, threats/opportunities
Translate insights into promo timing and region/product-specific recommendations
Support CBO with promo proposals, post-promo ROI analysis, and margin impact visibility
Ensure promotions are targeted, time-bound, and strategically justified
Work closely with Sales, Distribution, Operations/Manufacturing, Product Development, After-sales/Warranty
Act as a neutral, data-driven bridge between field reality and leadership decisions
Escalate risks, anomalies, and emerging trends early to the CBO
