Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Team Leadership Manage and guide the merchandising team to ensure smooth operation.
∎ Buyer Communication Act as the primary point of contact for key international buyers.
∎ Order & Production Oversight Supervise order tracking from development to shipment.
∎ Sample Development & Approval Ensure timely sample submission and buyer approvals.
∎ Sourcing Finalize sourcing of fabrics and trims with optimal pricing and lead time.
∎ Production Planning Coordinate with production, QA, and planning teams for on-time delivery.
∎ Cost & Budget Management Prepare cost sheets, manage pricing, and profitability.
∎ Logistics & Documentation Oversee shipping and export-related documentation.
∎ Problem Solving Quickly address any production or quality issues.
∎ Client Relationship Management Build long-term buyer relationships and support new business development.
