Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Provide inputs for development of sales strategy based on understanding of overall organization strategy, international market conditions and sales forecasts for existing buyers.
∎ Manage the respective merchandising team; responsible for the entire function of end-to-end order completion.
∎ Lead the planning team to determine new areas of growth, rank and plan the line and set pricing strategy.
∎ Generate initiatives for new buyers, ensure repeat orders and ensure profitability.
∎ Responsible for product development and price offer to the client.
∎ Oversee the gross margin, line plan, and annual budget.
∎ Negotiate and confirm price with the buyer and support Commercial team with necessary documents and deadline for processing materials for L/C opening.
∎ Oversee assigned team to collect PI for opening BTB L/C and ensure all related materials arranged within agreed time.
∎ Estimate the Time & Action (T&A) plan to export garments as per agreed lead time.
∎ Ensure the booking of raw materials at a competitive price (fabric and trims) placed to the suppliers needed for the garments to manufacture.
∎ Monitor the process of sourcing raw materials as per T&A plan and aligned with the planned piece goods cut date (PCD) is maintained. Ensure right quantity and quality of raw materials sourced from the suppliers.
∎ Monitor sampling approval process and provide sampling to the client on-time for approval and ensure right first time (RFT).Monitor and ensure required specification of quality, testing protocol, garments packing instruction, and shipment arrangements are accomplished as per the T&A plan.
∎ Ensure coordination warehouse; monitor inventory report from warehouse on a regular basis. Also, you need to prepare style coloring report at the end of a style completely shipped out.
∎ Facilitate timely goal setting across all departments of the plant by providing support to implement corporate guidelines on the goal-setting process.
∎ Context: The Sr./ Merchandiser plays a pivotal role in managing Fabric and Trims Accessories Sourcing, Costing, and Buyer Communication. The incumbent must possess a strong understanding of the processes and procedures of Next Buyer woven items to ensure smooth execution of merchandising activities and alignment with buyer expectations.
