Responsibilities & Context:
Communicate with international buyers, buying houses, and their representatives regarding order requirements, specifications, and delivery schedules.
Handle order execution from order confirmation to final shipment.
Prepare and follow up on Time and Action (T&A) plans to ensure timely execution of orders.
Coordinate with the Planning, Production, Sample, Quality, Commercial, and Store departments to ensure smooth order execution.
Follow up on sample development, approvals, lab dips where applicable, trims, accessories, fabrics, and other necessary materials.
Prepare and follow up on purchase orders, material requisitions, and order-related documentation.
Monitor fabric and accessories in-house status to ensure materials are available as per production requirements.
Follow up on sample submissions, comments, approvals, and buyer requirements.
Monitor production progress and coordinate with the concerned departments to meet shipment deadlines.
Ensure that production and shipment activities comply with buyer requirements, quality standards, and agreed delivery schedules.
Prepare order status reports and communicate updates to management and relevant stakeholders.
Coordinate with the Commercial and Shipping teams regarding shipment documentation and delivery arrangements.
Identify potential order execution risks and take timely corrective action in consultation with management.
Maintain effective communication with buyers and ensure prompt responses to their queries.
Perform other merchandising-related duties assigned by management.
