• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry

• Master of Science (MSc) in Chemistry

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Polymer Science/Technology is required.

• At least 10 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Leather goods/ Footwear/ Tannery, Manufacturing (FMCG), Retail Store, Wholesale

• Age At least 35 years
• Only Male

• Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial production management or technical service in Polymer, Rubber and Synthetic product lines, with at least 5 years of exclusive experience in production and formulation of synthetic footwear products.

• Hands-on skill in production/technical specifications and knowledge of footwear materials.

• Technical expertise in troubleshooting production processes for various types and categories of synthetic footwear, including issues related to chemical composition, conditioning, statistical process control, moulds and quality checks, in sample and bulk production.

• Knowledge of product development and R&D.

• Must be capable of following rigorous processes and procedures related to chemical formulation, recipe and compounding of various synthetic footwear products.

• Develop a new product development plan with item-wise objectives, customer forecast, estimated cost and timeline, to ensure cost-effective formulation and the shortest possible cycle time.

• Coordinate with the Lab on First Time Production (FTP) formulations to ensure precision as per the development recipe, to achieve product quality and consumption targets.

• Collaborate actively with the Lab and Quality teams to resolve issues and problems with suitable solutions.

• Customize existing formulations as per trending PM/market requirements, and ensure product deliverables meet those expectations/insights at zero incremental cost.

• Provide new, innovative and creative inputs to achieve the budgeted material cost.

• Set up and manage the basic chemical needs of Synthetics PD, R&D and Production.

• Design, develop and implement analytical methods, operational procedures and reliability programs to ensure the consistency, accuracy and quality of production.
