Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Graduate/ Hon's/ Masters/ BBA, MBA, BIFT/ NIFT Merchandising Degree/ Engineering in Textile will get preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 7 to 9 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Have to process and handle the order independently;
∎ Determine appropriate price quotations so that the company can ensure sales orders and maintain high profit;
∎ Interacting with the buyers directly for any clarifications & getting all required approvals within the target dates;
∎ Implementing new concepts & techniques to ensure high efficiency & timely shipment;
∎ Work with yarn, fabric and accessory suppliers to ensure orders are done as per specifications;
∎ To arrange all kinds of yarns, fabrics & accessories both from local and foreign sources as required for production;
∎ Constantly guiding the team keeping in mind about the shipment & the challenges during the bulk production - at the same time ensuring high quality, high efficiency & high productivity;
∎ Able to handle several numbers of orders/styles at a time independently;
∎ Should have good knowledge of yarn, accessories, fashion trends etc;
∎ Work closely with quality team to ensure best final product. Have to take care of all aspects of quality from initial to final stage of the production;
∎ Can do costing, order follow up, yarn booking & accessories follow-up;
∎ Proper execution of orders by using 'Time and Action Plan' on regular basis to ensure on time shipment with right quality and quantity;
∎ Provide clerical support to the merchandising team;
∎ Any other assignments and responsibilities assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ • Exceptional business writing skills and can visualize as well as convey a message into relevant and interesting content;
∎ • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and must be able to communicate with buyers and suppliers via e-mails independently;
∎ • Expertise in Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Photoshop / Adobe Illustrator;
∎ • Ability to handle the workload and manage multiple tasks at a time under a stressed environment.
