Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Collaborate with design and product development teams to understand design concepts, technical packages, and sample requirements.
∎ Develop and maintain a detailed sampling calendar and track progress of all sample stages (proto, fit, size set, pre-production, etc.).
∎ Liaise with fabric and trim suppliers to source necessary materials for sampling, ensuring timely delivery.
∎ Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., pattern making, cutting, sewing) and external vendors/factories for sample production.
∎ Organize and facilitate sample review meetings with relevant teams.
∎ Manage the sample approval process, ensuring final samples meet all requirements before production.
∎ Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the sample development process.
∎ Stay updated on new sampling techniques, materials, and industry best practices.
