Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)
∎ Desirable specialization or training in Tropical Medicine or related studies
∎ Skills Required: Management and Leadership, Strategic Planning, Teamworking skills

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): NGO ( Health), PHCC, Team management

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinating, assessing and supervising the proper functioning of the medical activities for all patient presentations, according to PHC protocols, standards and procedures and through the correct compilation and analysis of medical data regarding patients' health conditions.
∎ Participating in the definition of annual planning for the project and in the follow-up of the programs/project. Supervising and ensuring that medical activities objectives under his/her responsibility are achieved, immediately reporting to the PHC manager any problem arising in the service
∎ Checking all administrative procedures related to patients' follow-up (individual card filling, registers, paper exit, discharge, transfers ...) are carried out correctly and according to Tdh procedures.
∎ Ensuring efficient pharmacy management and monitoring the rational use of medications. In coordination with other PHC supervisors and PHC management supervising appropriate use of medical devices and anticipating future needs. Preparing the medical orders needed to implement the medical activities under his/her responsibility, and identifying and reporting to the PHC manager, non-medical support needs (material, infrastructure, transport, etc.)
∎ Coordinating and monitoring the daily working plan of the team under his/her responsibility (absent personnel, vacations, tracking leaves etc). Participating in shifts and replacing a doctor, if necessary
∎ Planning and supervising, in close coordination with the HR department, the associated processes (recruitment, training, performance evaluation, development and internal communication) of the staff under his/her responsibility in order to improve staff capabilities and to ensure both the sizing and the amount of knowledge required
∎ Participating in and gathering data for the monthly reports according to guidelines
∎ Supervision of medical doctors and assistants related to medical issues
∎ Reporting to Health Activity Coordinator and PHC Manager changes in patient flow that requires immediate or planned action.
∎ Report to Health Activity Coordinator and PHC Manager any challenges related to misbehaviour of staff under his direct supervision
∎ Report to Health Activity Coordinator and PHC Manager any major cases of patient dissatisfaction
∎ Report to PHC Manager any adverse events occurring in the PHC, within 24 hours of the event occurring
∎ Support training, help in identifying specific training needs. Arrange training plans in cooperation with PHC Manager
∎ Encouraging and facilitating medical discussions including mortality reviews, as part of capacity building and case management of MDs and MAs.
∎ If needed readjusting tasks between MDs and MAs as required according to staffing levels and patient demand.
∎ Participate in making monthly roster with Health National Coordinator and PHC Manager, making sure shifts are equally distributed
∎ Support the PHC Manager on issues related to national staff health and IPC activities.
∎ Take full responsibility in cooperation with the PHC Manager in relation to the psychiatric care of both patients and the medical team.
∎ This list of activities is not exhaustive and additional activities may be requested by Tdh management according to the needs of the PHC.
∎ Accept other responsibilities as assigned by the Line Manager

Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Female candidates are preferable
∎ Essential 2-year working experience related to the diploma/degree and previous experience with NGOs in the field
∎ Experience in team management
∎ Languages: Essential mission language, local language desirable
∎ Knowledge: Essential computer literacy (word, excel and internet)

Salary: Tk. 116000 (Monthly)
